INTENDED USE
The test is intended for the simultaneous qualitative detection of antibodies against canine adenovirus type 1/2 (ICH), canine parvovirus (CPV), and canine distemper virus (CDV) in canine serum or plasma. It is used to evaluate immune status and guide vaccination decisions, not to diagnose active infection. Three T lines report each antibody independently from one sample.
PRINCIPLE
The cassette contains three antigen-specific T lines, each pre-coated with viral antigen (canine adenovirus [ICH], canine parvovirus [CPV], or canine distemper virus [CDV]), and a shared C line on a nitrocellulose membrane. The conjugate pad contains fluorescence microsphere-conjugated anti-canine IgG. Specimen antibodies, if present, bind the corresponding antigen at the T line; the fluorescence-labeled anti-canine IgG then binds the captured antibody, generating a T-line signal. Unbound conjugate is captured at the C line as a procedural control. A fluorescence analyzer reads each T/C ratio to report ICH, CPV, and CDV antibody status from a single sample.
