INTENDED USE
For in vitro simultaneous qualitative detection of canine parvovirus (CPV), canine coronavirus (CCV), and Giardia (GIA) antigens in canine fecal specimens. Intended to aid rapid differential diagnosis of viral versus parasitic enteritis, guide therapy, and support outbreak screening in kennels and shelters. For veterinary point-of-care use.
PRINCIPLE
This multiplex fluorescence immunochromatographic assay contains three independent test zones, each coated with capture antibodies for one target—CPV, CCV, or Giardia. The conjugate pad is loaded with fluorescent microsphere-labeled detection antibodies specific to each pathogen. Target antigens in the processed fecal sample bind the corresponding labeled antibody and migrate laterally, being captured at their respective T line to form sandwich complexes. The fluorescence analyzer reads the T/C ratio at each zone, yielding three independent results from one sample application.
SPECIMEN
Fresh or properly preserved canine feces. Mix the fecal sample with the provided sample diluent to form a homogeneous suspension before applying to the cassette.
