INTENDED USE
For in vitro simultaneous detection of antibodies to Ehrlichia canis (EHR), Borrelia burgdorferi (LYME), and Anaplasma phagocytophilum (ANA) in canine whole blood, serum, or plasma. Intended for screening tick-exposed or endemic-area dogs and assisting differential diagnosis of febrile, lame, or lethargic patients. A positive result indicates exposure, not necessarily active disease; interpret with clinical findings and confirmatory testing.
PRINCIPLE
The test uses a multiplex fluorescence immunochromatographic assay with three independent test zones on a single strip. Each T line is coated with a recombinant antigen specific to one pathogen (Ehrlichia, Lyme, and Anaplasma). The conjugate pad carries fluorescent microsphere-labeled anti-canine IgG/IgM. Sample antibodies, if present, bind the labeled secondary antibody and are captured at the corresponding T line, forming an antigen–antibody complex. A fluorescence analyzer reads the T/C ratio at each zone, enabling three results from a single application.
