The Canine Parvovirus & Coronavirus Antigen FIA Test Kit is a multiplex rapid in vitro immunofluorescence chromatographic assay for the simultaneous qualitative detection of CPV and CCV antigens in canine feces. It enables one-step differential screening of two common viral enteritides.

INTENDED USE
The test is intended for the simultaneous qualitative detection of canine parvovirus (CPV) and canine coronavirus (CCV) antigens in canine fecal specimens. It is used as an aid in the rapid differential diagnosis of infectious viral enteritis. Multiple T lines allow independent reading of each analyte from a single sample application.
PRINCIPLE
The cassette contains two independent test lines, a CPV-specific T line and a CCV-specific T line, plus a shared C line on a nitrocellulose membrane. Fluorescence microsphere-conjugated anti-CPV and anti-CCV antibodies in the conjugate pad bind their respective antigens in the fecal extract. As the sample migrates, each antigen–antibody complex is captured at its corresponding T line by immobilized capture antibodies, while free conjugate is captured at the C line as a procedural control. A fluorescence analyzer reads the T/C ratio of each line to report CPV and CCV results from one assay.
SPECIMEN
Feces. Collect a fresh fecal sample with the swab, mix thoroughly in the assay buffer, allow particulates to settle, and apply the supernatant extract to the sample well.
