INTENDED USE
The Feline triple Antibody (FPV/FCV/FHV Ab) FIA test is intended for the simultaneous qualitative and semi-quantitative detection of antibodies against Feline Panleukopenia Virus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Herpesvirus in feline serum or plasma. It assists veterinarians in evaluating vaccination effectiveness, assessing herd immunity in multi-cat environments, and supporting preventive health management. Results should be interpreted with vaccination history and clinical judgment.
PRINCIPLE
This triple-antibody FIA uses an indirect fluorescence immunoassay with three separate test lines on the nitrocellulose membrane, each coated with a distinct viral antigen (FPV, FCV, FHV). Sample antibodies bind their corresponding immobilized antigen, and a fluorescently labeled anti-feline IgG secondary antibody detects the captured antibodies, producing independent signals at each T line. A C line confirms assay validity. The FIA analyzer reads each T/C fluorescence intensity ratio to report individual antibody presence and relative level.
